Help girls become unstoppable through the power of education!

A girl with an education is unstoppable.

Empowered girls who are educated, and can use their power for good, will become women who are unstoppable in their pursuit of change. When you educate a girl, you don’t just change her life—you empower her to lift up her family, her community, and future generations.

Meet Kadiatu, a determined young woman from Mile 91, Sierra Leone. Kadiatu’s journey from selling cassava leaves in a remote village to studying at university is nothing short of inspiring. With the support of One Girl, Kadiatu is now on the path to fulfilling her dream of becoming a lawyer:

As Kadiatu said in the video above: “One Girl changed my life. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

Education is a lifeline and one of the most powerful ways to reduce poverty, improve health and wellbeing, mitigate the climate change crisis, and ensure gender equality.

But when there are currently more than 122 million girls being denied their right to an education, we know we’ve got some serious work to do to make this world a better place.

The good news? You can be part of this change!

This October, as we celebrate International Day of the Girl, we invite you to join us in supporting more girls like Kadiatu. Together, we can ensure that girls in Sierra Leone and beyond have the tools they need to unlock their potential and shape a brighter future:

  • $30 can provide 6 scholars with sanitary pads for a month.
  • $50 can provide 2 scholars with lunch money for an entire month.
  • $129  can provide 3 scholars with a rechargeable solar light to study at night.
  • $330 can provide 1 scholar with a back-to-school kit, which includes a school bag, books, pen, uniforms, shoes, hats, calculator, geometry set and much more.
  • $2,250 contributes to a full scholarship for a One Girl Scholar, helping her become an unstoppable world changer.

THIS OCTOBER, AS WE CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL, HELP GIRLS LIKE KADIATU BECOME UNSTOPPABLE THROUGH THE POWER OF EDUCATION.
