I'm fundraising for girls' education

Did you know more that 130 million girls around the world are out of school? Educating girls not only changes the lives of those girls, but also their families, communities and countries. Not only that, but getting more girls in school will have a positive impact on climate change! A win-win-win.

This year I'm proud to be a One Girl Ambassador! I'm supporting One Girl by raising awareness and raising funds for girls' education.

Fundraising for out of school girls and teenage mothers

In Uganda, a huge number of girls can nolonger have access to formal education due to the fact that their parents are financially incapacitated and live below the poverty line, others dropped out of school as a result of COVID 19 that came and lasted for way too long, girls were left with no choice but to enter into early marriage. Today they suffer consequences as they became child/Teenage mothers at extremely young age.
As an HRD, I feel the need to support these young girls have hopes for a better tomorrow, and in that sense therefore, Am fundraising resources to establish a safe space for them to be able to train them vocational skills like Tailoring, hairdressing and so many other more skills.
