raising money for girls education
According in Global Partnership for education, girls are 1.5 times more likely to miss out on primary education than boys. Educating girls has many benefits, changing not only the lives of those girls, but also their families, communities and countries.
Studies show if all girls finish 12 years of schooling, the human capital wealth could increase by up to 30 trillion dollars (that's around 4 thousand dollars per person)!
In many developing countries, girls still don't receive their fair 12 years of education. This can be due to financial issues in their families, lack of support from their communities or lack of safety at school (around 60 million girls are sexually assaulted on their way to or at school every year). This lack of education can also be caused through gender inequality or discrimination in local areas, making many families prioritize boys' education over girls' when resources are limited.
