Girl Up is a United Nations affiliated women’s empowerment community group based in Brisbane - hosting social, fundraising and advocacy events! Beyond supporting women and gender diverse people in our local community, fundraising for our sisters internationally aligns with our mission to have a far-reaching impact elevating the lives of women everywhere!
We hope to contribute to awareness-raising about the 130 million girls currently denied the right to education worldwide and start important conversations about the criticality of girl's education.
